Numismatic Literary Guild Names Ron Guth Executive Director
The Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG) Board of Directors unanimously approved the appointment of Ron Guth of San Diego, California, to be the NLG executive director starting September 1, 2018. He succeeds Donn Pearlman of Las Vegas, Nevada, who agreed to serve in that role for a year following the August 2017 passing of long-time NLG Executive Director Ed Reiter. Guth is an award-winning author and researcher whose works include Coin Collecting For Dummies, The 100 Greatest Women on Coins, and the Encyclopedia of United States Gold Coins 1795-1933 (co-authored with Jeff Garrett).
