In the wake of Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) admitting to silver and gold manipulation, a new $1 billion class action lawsuit has been proposed in Canada regarding the same practice. The suit is aimed at a number of large financial institutions, including the Bank of Nova Scotia (TSX:BNS).
As quoted in the press release:
At this point, neither Canadian lawsuit, each of which is seeking up to $1 billion in damages or compensation on behalf of investors, has been certified to move forward.
