Since I started doing some research for a friend of mine I have come across a wide variety of great web sites. They sing, they dance, the make you laugh, they….you get the point. I have visited hundreds if not thousands of web sites all with their own niche to make them unique.
People holding garage and yard sales will not want to repack their items. In order to take advantage of Vintage baseball cards this you should find out when the garage sale is ending. When the people are beginning to pack up, approach them and offer a small amount for the rest of their items. This is a great way to get low cost merchandise.
So what can YOU offer that’ll add value to your deal? How about a homemade bonus CD with some live tracks, or even just MP3s, burned on it? Not good enough? Let’s add a sticker or even a T-Shirt to REALLY sweeten the deal!
Collectables – If you like collecting something then most likely someone else enjoys collecting the same items. I started selling buing baseball cards Oldsmar on eBay back in 1997 because I had a good collection of old cards.
The key to success in the card business is again to theme the cards to an interest that you identified. For instance, the Library of Congress has a great baseball card folder from around 1900 online. An enterprising person could use them to make decks of playing cards and market them during baseball season. Lots of folks who like baseball play cards and would be thrilled to have such a unique pack of cards to enjoy while playing their game.
His philatelic interests reached around the world. He especially enjoyed collecting postmarks from various locales. When his oldest daughter was in school, he suggested to her that a good school project would be to write to many of the foreign embassies to get information on that country. She suspects to this day that what he really hoped was that each reply would bring him a unique stamp or at least postmark that he could add to his accumulation.
There are people who make a living out of selling and not just the usual items you see in stores. They are making money out of their own stuff. If you are keeping those old, but valuable baseball cards, unused cell phones, and clothes among other things, post them on eBay or hold a garage sale. Convert them into cash instead of letting them rot and occupy your room.
