Go Get Outdoors to Hartwick Pines State Park on Aug. 27-28 for the Black Iron Days Festival, the largest annual gathering of blacksmiths in Michigan. Over 50 craftsmen and women will be on hand demonstrating their trade at the logging museum located at the park.

Believe it or not, the average house has $1,000 worth of unused stuff in it. That means you could probably earn $1,000 by selling on eBay the stuff in your house that you don’t use. Maybe it’s an old lamp. Or maybe you have an old upper deck baseball cards price guide or dolls.

After this step, the sweetened liquid moves to a cooler where the temperature is dropped to slightly solidify the gum and is prepared for the extruder machine. The extruder machine will maneuver the gum to achieve a certain texture. When set, the mix is passed through a roller where the gum is flattened. I’m not one of those people that enjoy going to garage sales, but some people really enjoy it. If you’re one of those people keep your eye out for items that you think would sell on eBay or Craigslist. With eBay you can do a search to see if that item has sold recently and for how much. If you don’t know how to do that please let me know and I can do a post on that.

TIP: Worried about destroying an entire baseball card collection? Have the cards scanned and laser printed onto a bright white cardstock at your local copy and print center.
